Student Learning Outcomes

• To develop and write lesson plans in ballet, jazz and modern dance.
• To experience and develop dance pedagogy applicable in ballet, jazz and modern dance.
• Students will be able to assemble a comprehensive job portfolio that includes a cover letter, resume and business card template.
• Students will be able to present a comprehensive portfolio that includes lesson plans, teaching analogies and personal responses that chronicle the process of becoming a successful dance teacher.
